Stacey S Stiriz
became an Assistant Prosecutor in December 2016 after practicing criminal
defense law for 12 years. She is responsible for prosecuting adult felony
cases and probation violations. She also represents the Williams County
Treasurer in tax foreclosures.
She received her Bachelor of Science
degree from Eastern Michigan University in criminology and her Juris Doctorate
from the University of Toledo College of Law. During law school, she
served as a legal intern in the City of Toledo Municipal Prosecutor’s Office
for approximately 2 years and as an intern clerk with the Sixth District Court
of Appeals under the Honorable Judith A. Lanzinger.
Upon graduating from
law school, she opened a private practice in Fulton County, Ohio where she
primarily handled criminal defense, family law and juvenile law cases and
obtained qualifications as a mediator and Guardian ad Litem. During her
private practice, she worked throughout Fulton, Williams, Henry and Defiance
Counties. She resides in Fulton County with her spouse, Rick, where they are
blessed with one son, Lane.
